Pam is the founder of LyfeStyle Plus and a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA).

Pam had a career for over 20 years as an executive in film, television, and live entertainment in business development and marketing, where she negotiated deals and managed complex contracts. Her mom, Peggy ,was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s/dementia in 2017. Soon after, in 2018, Pam started a new job as a senior-level executive for an international company. A couple of months in, while Pam was on a business trip, her mom was rushed to the ER. And so, Pam’s journey as a caregiver began.

Suddenly, Pam had to figure everything out. But she didn’t even know what “everything” was. Setting up Power of Attorney, Medical Power of Attorney, POLST, DNR, and Health Care Proxy. Identifying bank accounts, investment accounts, deeds, titles. Finding the account numbers! Untangling all those medications, figuring out the doses. Figuring out a slew of doctor visits. Considering Medicare? Finding out about Long Term Care insurance? There was so much to do, and it didn’t stop there. And then came COVID.

Now, after years of learning on the job as her mom’s caretaker —navigating the medical, financial, legal, and nutritional aspects of caring for an aging parent —Pam pursued a formal training to become a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), a designation that would enable her to share her hard-earned knowledge and work with older adults.

Pam looks at the big picture first, lays out the moving parts, identifies potential problems, and aligns resources for solutions. And, she understands the little things, like how to automate feeding the cat or how to keep a schedule of appointments updated.
