Pam is the founder of LyfeStyle Plus and a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA).
Pam had a career for over 20 years as an executive in film, television, and live entertainment in business development and marketing where she put together deals and managed complex contracts. Her mom Peggy was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s/dementia in 2017. In 2018, Pam started a new job as a senior level executive for an international company. A couple months in, while on a business trip, her mom was rushed to the ER. And so, Pam’s journey began as a caregiver.
Suddenly she had to figure everything out. But what was “everything”? Power of Attorney, Medical Power of Attorney, POLST, DNR, Health Care Proxy, and identify bank accounts, investment accounts, deeds, titles, and find the account numbers! And what were all those medications? The doses? The doctors? Medicare? Long Term Care insurance? And it didn’t stop there. And then came COVID.
Now, after years of learning on the job as her mom’s caretaker - navigating the medical, financial, legal and nutritional aspects of caring for an aging parent - Pam became a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) enabling her to work with older adults.
Pam understands the little things (like how to automate feeding the cat). She looks at the big picture first, lays out the moving parts, identifies potential problems, and aligns resources for solutions. Whether you’re trying to figure out next steps to care for an aging parent or spouse or want to get your personal punch list in order, Pam became a CSA to help as your guide.
