Everyone ages, but everyone experiences the physical and cognitive changes of aging differently and at different times. The life span, health span and wealth span intersect starting at age 50. And, as early as 50, it’s time to create a plan for what’s next. And moving from middle age to later adulthood requires a different plan.
As we age, we can continue to enjoy vibrant social lives aligned with our lifestyle. We may go to concerts, football games, museums, dinner, and the theatre, or enjoy fishing, cooking, visiting family, traveling, and shopping. But, as we age, we need to review our lifestyle and start planning for and managing the PLUS.
To prepare for the PLUS, it’s key to understand the physical, cognitive, medical, social, legal, financial, and nutritional changes that affect us as we age, particularly at age 65, and then beyond.
